Saturday Jan 23 - A Pretty Morning

It's a very pretty morning outside as the sun rises. A bit chilly at -14, but there is no wind, and all the trees are coated in hoar frost.
We have had about 2 to 3 cm of new powder snow since Wednesday, so the trail conditions have improved. I will be grooming later this morning, at least with the roller and snow comb. I will do a trial section of track-setting to see if it is effective.
With a predicted high of -6 and sunshine, it looks like a very nice day to ski.
