Conditions on the trails will be much the same again today - generally good. We had some drifting again yesterday, so trails in exposed areas may be covered with a bit of drifted snow, but will still be good skiing.
A big weather system is coming through tomorrow. It looks like it will give us a mix of precipitation. We'll have to wait until things settle down on Wednesday to find out how it has affected the ski conditions.
Hi Dave, Monday afternoon ski was great. Started at 5th SR skied along Mainline to Pasture to Roller Coaster and then checked out the new part of Mainline in the woods and the North Plateau. New additions to trail are very nice indeed. Thanks for making this possible. Looked in vain for the donation box. Does it exist? I'm sure that other skiers like me would like to contribute. Ron J
ReplyDeleteHi Ron, glad to hear you got in a quality ski before the weather bomb of Tuesday. The donation box does exist and quite a few skiers have been using it. It's on the backside (north side) of the 6X6 sign post right where the trail passes through the fence. It's a grey electrical fuse box, modified so you can put money in, but not get it out.
