Christmas morning

After a mild day and some melting yesterday, the temperature is just now beginning to drop below freezing. Trails will be icy and fast today; it would probably be best to stay home and eat turkey.
Our big weather challenge will come tomorrow, as a warm front sweeps through, accompanied by rain and possibly freezing rain. With a high of about +10, we will definitely lose some snow. I will assess the condition of the trails on Tuesday when cooler temperatures have returned.
It would probably be wise to take a couple of days off skiing until things stabilize. In the meantime, Merry Christmas and thanks to all who have come, skied, enjoyed, and left a donation in the box. It is appreciated.
