I've just come in from skiing. It's a lot calmer now than it was yesterday afternoon and evening. The result of the strong winds is that the groomed track is filled in with blown snow in many places. Also, in a lot of places, the tracks have accumulated a lot of "stuff" such as pine needles, spruce needles or the tiny leaves from goldenrod plants along the trail. This is not too serious, but it definitely slows down the glide.
Some snow is predicted for tonight, so I think I will wait until after that happens before doing any serious grooming again.
