This is Day 38 of skiing this season.
Conditions on the trails remain the same as they have been for the past couple of days: poor to fair. It is possible to ski, but not enjoyable because the trails are very icy. Extreme caution should be used on downhill sections. It's very difficult to control speed and direction.
One bright spot is that the temperature is trending cooler - closer to where it should be at this time of year. The next significant snowfall in the forecast is next Tuesday and Wednesday. We will have to wait and see if it materializes. Until then, trail conditions will remain very challenging.
